The CT-BSC series low power (333mV) current transformers from Janitza is a series of divisible current transformers specially designed for the
UMG 96-PQ-L-LP power analyzer and the
800-CT8-LP expansion module (associated with the UMG 801 power analyzer). These current transformers are available with a primary current of 600 to 2500 A and the series has a class 0.5 accuracy.
Conductor Diameter
It is essential for a current transformer to fit the conductor to be measured. For the CT-BSC series, the following diameters are available for conductors:
- CT-BSC-021-000-600: 21 x 51 mm
- CT-BSC-050-000-1200: 50 x 90 mm
- CT-BSC-080-000-2500: 80 x 120 mm
Divisible
The CT-BSC series current transformers are divisible and can be easily placed around the conductor to be measured without having to de-energize the installation. This simplifies the installation and reduces inconvenience. Additionally, they are also suitable for retrofitting.
