This Advanced Static VAR Generator (ASVG) from the fortop FPC series is designed to reduce reactive power, current imbalance, and the most common harmonics. In installations with a mix of direct online motors, single-phase loads, and electronic loads, both reactive power, imbalance, and harmonics occur, which can cause problems. Reactive power, also known as reactive current, is power that cannot be effectively utilized. In addition, harmonic currents are caused by connected electronic loads such as frequency converters and LED lighting. Reactive power and harmonics add extra strain on cables, conduits, transformers, and the electrical connection with the grid operator. By reducing reactive power and harmonics with an Advanced Static VAR Generator, increased capacity and better energy efficiency are achieved, and power space is created.

fortop FPC series

This Advanced Static VAR Generator is part of the fortop FPC series of compact compensation systems. This series includes various types of modules (SVG, ASVG & AHF) with diverse compensation capacities, ensuring there is always a suitable system available to provide a solution for issues related to voltage quality. All FPC systems are delivered in either IP32 or IP54 versions and are suitable for wall mounting. Additionally, all systems are available with a remote monitoring package for even more insight into your electrical network. This monitoring package includes an advanced Janitza UMG 604 power analyser with a universal communication module featuring Ethernet, 4G/LTE, VPN, and managed switch options for possible integration into your business network and/or remote services from fortop.
